Important Information for Parent Volunteers!
EGUSD is implementing a new practice for fingerprinting. To be cleared as a parent volunteer to help in classrooms or attend field trips as a chaperone, you must be fingerprinted with EGUSD, AND complete the 60 Minute Mandated Training through Public School Works (PSW).EGUSD has their own fingerprinting process. Livescans through outside companies or jobs requiring fingerprint clearance will not be accepted. You MUST complete the process through EGUSD.
CURRENT VOLUNTEERS – A notification was sent via email on July 2nd. You will keep your current volunteer status as cleared, as long as you complete the Mandated Training within 6 weeks of the notification (deadline August 13th). If you do not complete the training within 6 weeks, your clearance will be deleted from EGUSD database and you will have to re-fingerprint.

NEW VOLUNTEERS – The Volunteer Application Packet is available for pick up here in the front office. Once complete, it will need our administrators signature, then the completed packet will need to be dropped off at the EGUSD Human Resources Compliance Department and they will provide you will a link to schedule your fingerprinting appointment. Please note that this process may take several weeks. Once prints are complete and the Mandated Training is passed, you will be added to the database.
